Video Removal Policy

The College of Charleston reserves the right to remove a video for any reason at any time. Content creators will be notified when their video is removed. The most common reasons would be:

  • the content creator, an instructor, academic department, other department or office asks that the video be removed.
  • we are notified that the video contains copyrighted material or infringes on someone’s intellectual property rights or any other rights.
  • for privacy or administrative concerns, or if the video violates any laws, or is deemed pornographic or obscene.
  • the video becomes outdated or gives information that is no longer relevant or correct.
  • viewership performance is very low and storage space becomes a concern.
