- Find appropriate memes and use them. Create your

- Have your followers suggest things for
what new students to do in their first semester.
- Check out the College’s YouTube
channel and link to a video.
- Create cover photos for your followers
to use.
- Get quotes from your faculty about
their courses, their area of expertise, anything!
- Ask likes on Facebook if they are
following you on Twitter and ask Twitter followers if they are following you on
Facebook.
- Do giveaways – people love CofC gear!
- Post on holidays – nothing overly religious, but
recognize what the College and/or your department is doing for the holiday or
to get ready for the holiday.
- Post photos of staff – students and alumni love
to see them!
- Post interesting tidbits about staff, things
students/alumni might not know.
- Post news articles that relate to your specific
department or that relate to your field.
- Post about alumni accomplishments and successes.
- Post about student successes – was one of your
students named Athlete of the Week? Recognize him/her!
- Post about big events at the College – notable
athletic events, speakers, etc.
- Link to calendar events.
- Post a quote that is relevant to your
department, an event, students, etc.
- Find a “Student of the Month” – take their
picture and include a quote about their favorite part of your department, etc.
- Offer advice for students.
- Ask an either or question – and post photos.
